Prague in the fog
a photo essay
Group Title (Optional)
I'd left my hotel early. Walking downhill toward the Vltava River. Eager to meet my local guide Martin on Charles Bridge. To get some unusual images because of weather he'd forewarned me about.
I had a good feeling about the day.

I was sure it would be a good day for photos. It would start with a gloriously foggy morning.
I knew it was going to be because, the second I walked under the arch of the tower on the castle side of Prague's Charles Bridge, I couldn't see the far side of the river or the other tower of the bridge.
Excitement thrummed in my veins...

Visit Czechia was kind enough to arrange for my tour with Martin. He was an extraordinary guide and photography instructor and I highly recommend hiring him in the Czech Republic or grabbing a spot on one of his photo tours:

All images were captured with the Sony a6600 and Tamron 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Sony E lens borrowed from Lensrentals as I was trying to travel light for my month on the road.
In a future post, I'll share more about how I was able to work with one lens only for the whole trip and whether or not I'd do that again.

I stayed at Hotel Golden Key Prague Castle and would recommend it.
