Lincoln and Revel
a winning melody

One of the many things I am continually trying to work on as a creative, is my car photography. Thanks to a healthy following on social media and a friendship with the founder of A Girls Guide to Cars, it's not difficult to get my hands on vehicles to test drive. (And I am aware + very grateful of that privilege.) However I don't find it as easy to photograph the experience in a way I am always happy with, unless I am the director or photographer. Not the driver.
I love driving so much, and have even trained to rally drive, that when I have a vehicle to myself I tend to let the part of my brain that enjoys driving, take over. And the creative part of me seems to take a backseat. Pardon the pun. With a glorious sound system like Revel's, the escape into driver mode is even more pronounced.

Still I promised A Girls Guide to Cars that in addition to my review of the Revel Sound System I published, I would also share more images of the vehicle itself. So regardless of whether or not this is my best work or if I could have perhaps done better...
let's... get going *wink*

Funny story about the cows in the image below and to the right: I'd pulled over safely and stopped to take a photo of them way off in the field. I mean way off. I thought they made for a nice California scene with the hills beyond. Similar to ones I'd seen earlier on in my trip in another part of the state [left]. I had the Revel sound system playing the song 'Father' by Overcoats and I'd rolled down the window before picking up my camera from its cradle in the passenger seat. By the time I could get the camera, check my settings and prepare to take the photo, they'd all made their way to the fence to get as close to the vehicle as possible. They almost seemed to run over, instead of amble.
Were they drawn by the sound system, or the music it played?
Why not? The sound system
with its almost 30 speakers specially engineered and designed for Lincoln, by Revel, was as thrilling as the Aviator itself which is in every way a luxury SUV.
In short: the Lincoln Aviator and its Revel Sound System are a winning melody.
